We would like to take the opportunity today to introduce you to our newest sister company, Apex Aluminum Extrusions Ltd, to compliment our existing offering of fabricated glass products for the architectural market. Two years ago, we realized that the potential synergy of supplying Aluminum Extrusions to Vitrum’s existing customer base would be a creative solution for our customers. Apex is in the process of commissioning the most state-of-the-art extrusion facility in Canada, and has been established to supply high quality products, with short lead times to the local market.
Vitrum Industries is proud to be your supplier of fabricated glass products, and 2011 will mark our 14th year in business. We have always strived to be a leader in Glass Fabrication, and have grown to meet our customers’ requirements. The past decade has been one of significant growth including the addition of three Tempering Ovens, three Insulated Glass production lines, Screen Printing, Roller Coating, CNC drilling and milling stations, four Automated CNC cutting tables, an oversized PVB lamination line, along with several other new processes. We have been diligent in achieving our goal of being a “single source” supplier; all the products, from the simple to complex are supplied from our single facility in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Vitrum is also a Guardian SunGuard™ Certified Commercial Fabricator, and a Certified Fabricator of all PPG Commercial Products. We are a proud leader in Glass Fabrication, and will continue to improve our processes and capabilities to meet all of your supply requirements.
Apex is fortunate to have Bill de Koning in the role of General Manager. He brings with him many years of experience and knowledge in the aluminum extrusion industry, as well a straight forward and honest approach on how Apex will serve its customers.
